Downtown New Orleans, near the convention center. It's Super Bowl week, and this is the center of the sports universe.
It's a Thursday night, not a weekend. About 6:30 p.m.
Walking down the street there's a guy holding a drink in his hand. Apparently not his first.
He has a bucket on his head, wearing it like a hat.
He shouts to anyone who will listen, "God I love this city!"

Did you ever know pirate Mike? He had a sailboat in the St Crix harbor and was quite the toaster at Angry Nates when he was toasted. I last saw him in September 2009 and heard he moved off island in 2010ish. Quite the character when in pirate mode.
It's not really true love until you've said it with a bucket on your head! lol
One night while I was bartending in a pub that had a patio with two opposite end doors that opened wide to the outside, we were closing up and this guy careened around the corner and into the bar. His t-shirt was covered in blood.....the sleeves were hanging off.....he still had a plastic cup in his hand and the front of his shirt said: Instant Asshole-Just Add Alcohol. He looked at us and said: "I'm drunk." We gave him a beer and he careened out the other door never to be seen again.
Ya gotta love a drunk. :)
Have SUPER fun this weekend!
Kiss Tori for me....with a bucket on your head..... ;)
hugs-

Not sure I know your pirate Mike, Reggie, unless he's our friend Mike who goes by Captain Killy. (A reference to how he used to obtain power for his legendary all-night pirate parties down at Cane Bay. Great guy. And yes, he's often toasted, though I don't know if he hang's out at Angry Nate's particularly. THAT pirate Mike - who has more money tied up in his pirate garb than I do in my kids' education is still on island, a great guy. He was grand marshal for last year's St. Patrick's Day parade.
Foxmorton - we don't happen to own a bucket, but that won't stop me from kissing her!
